SPAGHETTI SAUCE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

dash of oregano, basil & parsley
3 large cans of diced tomatos
1 large can of tomato sauce
1 large can of tomato paste
1 medium onion / 3 cloves of minced garlic
1 cup of fresh parmesan cheese
3/4 cup of favorite wine
1 carton of sliced mushrooms
olive oil (enough to evenly coat bottom of dutch oven)
(uncooked sausage could also be added if you
wish)

INSTRUCTION:

* in dutch oven...slowly sautee onion & garlic in olive
oil until onions are just soft. don't have your heat
too high..this will cause the garlic to become bitter.
* add ALL other ingredients
* simmer for as long as possible. (i usually
start the sauce in the morning & simmer
all day..smells so darn yummy!)

ENJOY! and this sauce freezes nicely too!

    I'm surprised you didn't write EVOO. LOL!
